Join the Franklin County Trust for Historic Preservation for an open house tour of downtown Frankfort’s historic church buildings. This Christmas season come see their beautiful sanctuaries, hear their history, and learn about their community services. Collaborating churches will be open to tour with select musical performances for our community to experience these historic landmarks.

In collaboration with the following participating historic Frankfort churches, we eagerly welcome you to join us for a free holiday open house. Guest may tour these treasured historic structures dressed for Christmas and enjoy select musical performances while supporting those in need in our community. These tours are free and open to the public. Select musical performances will be presented as the times below.

First Christian Church - 316 Ann Street, Frankfort, KY

First United Methodist Church - 211 Washington St. Frankfort, KY
-Musical Performance 6:00pm
First Presbyterian Church - 416 W Main Street, Frankfort, KY
-Open for tour only
Chruch of the Ascension -311 Washington Street, Frankfort, Ky
-Musical Performance 7:15pm
*First Baptist Church on St. Clair will provide a bus shuttle between churches for those who wish to use the service during the tour.

Mr. Roy Nance, will play a recital featuring Christmas music from France, Germany, England, and the United
States. The music will feature the various sounds of the church’a Randall
Dyer and Associates pipe organ.
Nearly 2000 pipes make up the thirty-nine ranks of pipes.
Help those in need this holiday season. Churches and organizations across our community are gathering donations to help those in need. Please give and spread some goodwill this Christmas.
